Rome, Italy, February 2, 2009 - NoMachine, creator of NX, remote access and application delivery software, will be the subject of the Millenux LiSoG Workshop titled “NoMachine NX – Ways to Improve the Terminal” to take place March 25, 2009 in Munich, Germany. This workshop will focus on the workings and benefits of the NoMachine NX Advanced Server. Using real-life customer examples, attendees will explore the functionalities and advantages of NoMachine's NX Advanced Server. Tech-savvy Unix and Linux administrators will work through new and developing topics such as using NX with USB device access, sophisticated load-balancing, and smartcard-based authentication. Participants will take a hands-on approach and have the opportunity to practice the ideas being discussed using virtual appliances supplied specifically for this workshop. In addition, each participant will receive a DVD with all the appliances, presentations, and required software. Speaking at this event is Harald Milz, Senior Consultant and Manager of the Munich subsidiary of Millenux GmbH. He has been covering Linux and Open Source in various assignments since early 1993 as a professional journalist, system engineer and consultant. Milz is also responsible for the German branch of NoMachine 2nd level support. The event is a five hour workshop scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm.
