All you need to know

Loading a configuration or recording file via NoMachine Player

Start your journey to the next level of remote computing

NoMachine connection files and recordings can be loaded directly via the NoMachine Player. This is extremely useful when you have been provided with a pre-configured session file (.nxs or .nxw extensions), for example, which is perhaps stored in another folder location and you want to make it available in the Machines panel. Similarly, recordings made using NoMachine's recording tool (identifiable with the .nxr and .nxv extensions) can also be added to the Machines panel for easy access and played back using the Player.

How to load connection files and recordings

Step 1: Go to the Machines panel

  • Go to the Machines panel of your NoMachine installation.
  • You can reach the Machines panel from the Monitor !M icon in the system tray by selecting 'main window'.
