1.2.2-72 is the first production release of nxserver for the NX 1.2.2 series.- One session, more applications
NX Server now offers the possibility to run more applications using the same session in both Windows and Linux clients. - Improved error management and error reporting
Frequent errors are now shown directly to the client and can be solved without having to resort to the log file. Communication between node and server is now more efficient, with errors on the node being reported to the server. - Minor improvements in administration server
Some corrections and improvements have been made to the administration interface. It is now possible to list all enabled users on the server login. - Better nx user management
Management of nx users has improved and moreover, compatibility with the previous versions of openssh has increased. - File format PNG support
The new functionalities present in nxagent and nxproxy concerning PNG image compression are now supported in the new version of NX Server. - Monitoring and shutdown system more efficient
The monitoring and shutdown of sessions have been improved because support of SAMBA shares is more efficient and they can now be unmounted more neatly. The user’s programs which used to block SAMBA filesystems are terminated before shares are unmounted. - Added support
Support of latest Linux distributions RedHat 9.0, SuSE 8.2 and Mandrake 9.1 has been added. - There has been an improvement in the installing and uninstalling of scripts.
